How the pre-consult note works

:::info Draft Scaffolding. Timings and EMR behaviour need confirming before publishing. :::

The sequence

  1. A referral package arrives for an upcoming appointment.
  2. CleverConsult reads the full package.
  3. A draft consult note is written into the chart ahead of the appointment.
  4. You review and correct it before or at the start of the visit.
  5. The scribe merges the visit into that same draft.

What ends up in the draft

Where citations come from

Each claim in the draft points back to where in the package it came from, so anything you want to verify is one click away rather than a page hunt.

Turn citations on with the bookmark icon above the note. Small numbered badges then appear at the end of each statement:

A generated note with citations enabled, showing numbered page badges after each section

Each badge is the page of the source document. Click one and the right-hand panel switches to Docs and opens that document at that page — so checking a claim is a click, not a page hunt.

Long packages

Long, disorganised packages are the case this was built for. Length is not a problem; a package that arrives too close to the appointment can be.
